ABOUT ALLEYS: Alleys are the not-so-subtle connecting points between here and there, between sunrise and sunset, and between truth and fiction. They behave as a sort of gateway into spiritual ascension that enhance urban living and have a language in unto themselves, a lexicon of verbal and nonverbal imagery that is poetic and honest. Their stories have echoed throughout my life.
ABOUT JACKETS: I do not believe I own any of my jackets. I believe they are all ‘on loan’ from the Universe.
Their purpose for existing and entering my life, while not always obvious, has a great significance to my life.
I am simply the caretaker who takes pride in each of them and treats each with respect.
Eclectic
I have followed (or have been led by) an eclectic career path over these decades.
And not in any particular order:
A decade as a meat packing industry executive;
The proud operator of a gourmet (yes, gourmet) hot dog cart in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood in Denver;
Managing editor of a business newspaper;
A senior leader in a nationally recognized business consultancy;
A successful career counselor to executives in search of their next job;
A business development and brand planning director for an architecture and construction firm;
And the creator and founder of Transum, LLC - building a solid reputation from coast-to-coast in strategic planning and creating brand names for companies and products.
Each of these steps has contributed in its own distinctive way to this collection.
Philosophy
Metaphor, mythology, storytelling - - -

- - - these are among the integral components that define me personally and professionally.
